YoYo Surf' is Ahangama’s newest surf hostel of YoYo Hostels group Sri Lanka!
We offer a choice of comfortable dorms with A/C or a fan for the more budget-minded traveller.
Each bed is dressed with high-quality, comfortable bedding and provided with a secure locker, universal charge point and reading lamp.
There is a communal living area within the house for eating, socializing and movie nights – as well as a large outdoor space for lazing around on the sunbed, beanbags or hammock.
As we are slightly set back from the main road the area is peaceful and free from the noise of traffic– So you can chill/work/relax after your surf in peace. We also regularly spot monkeys, mongooses and lizards in
our yard.
Social and fun
Mirissa, Weligama, Ahangama, Unawatuna, Galle, and the whole South Coast are within very easy reach, as there are nearby bus stops in both directions... We have plenty of space for secure, safe parking if you're hiring a scooter.
If you’re more about partying than surfing, then you are also in the right place! The famous ‘Cheeky Monkeys’ is extremely close and holds huge weekly parties – but if you know where to go there is a party every night of the week.
Breakfasts are available upon request and we also organize weekly communal dinners for everyone to get involved and get to know one another.
There is also a BBQ for those who love to cook outside and this can be used by everyone. Or, there is an abundance of great local restaurants.

We are nestled right in the middle of the best surfing spots on the South Coast -Weligama's easy beach break is 6km away and perfect for those lovely longboard days Or if youre a newbie it stops 5 in the world to learn how to surf YoYo can help you organize lessons or surf packages, speak to our lovely staff!
For the experienced surfer, Midigama Right (Sion) is directlyacross from the hostel while Lazy Left, Lazy Right and the famous Ram's are all conveniently located down the road, perfect if you want to dawn patrol and get out there first!
Coconuts and Plantations, for those looking to graduate from the sand, are also close by.
Mirissa, Weligama, Ahangama, Unawatua, Galle, and the whole South Coast is within very easy reach.

A lost key for the pad lock will charge Rs.1000 from the guest.
