Claraval Student Residence is our accommodation in Madrid’s city centre.
Placed in Chamberí, known as one of the locals more loved areas, and very close to Malasaña, the young creative neighbourhood that has inherited the Movida spirit (a cultural and social movement that revolutionised the city during the ’80s).
With 186 beds, in different configurations (individual studios with private bathroom and kitchen, and 2 and 3 bedroom apartments with private bathroom and shared kitchen), it is the perfect accommodation for students looking for a more independent living experience.

Your booking can be cancelled for free if the Visa application has been denied.
A booking can be cancelled for free if you have failed to obtain the required qualifications to get into your university of choice.

The duration of the Contract must be at least 9 months between 12:00 on the day of entry and 12:00 on the day of departure established in the Accommodation Contract. Do I need to pay a deposit? Yes, and the deposit pays part toward the Damage Deposit when due. A security deposit of €250 must be paid in advance to make a booking. This fee then forms part of the Damage Deposit of €800. A guarantor is needed to stay with us, If you have a Spain based guarantor, you can pay your rent in instalments. Alternatively, you can pay your annual rent upfront in a lump sum.
If you sign your Tenancy Agreement on or after 1 June 2021 and you have not collected the keys to your Room, you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Residence Manager at the Property, at any time within the period of fourteen (14) days of the date on which you sign your Tenancy Agreement (the “Cooling-Off Period”). Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Tenancy and will refund your Advance Rent Payment together with any other payments of Rent you may have made.
If you sign a Tenancy Agreement for a semester 2 or 3 beginning after the 1st January 2022, you may cancel your Tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the Residence Manager at the Property, with no penalty up until 15 November 2021 or 8 weeks before the start of your agreement whichever is the shortest. Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your Tenancy and will refund your Advance Rent Payment, together with any other payments of Rent you may have made. We can only accept full-time students. To live with us whilst studying at University, you will need to be 18 or older. We don’t allow smoking inside your residence, but you’re free to smoke outside.

In times of uncertainty and your peace of mind, we recommend you select a flexible rate with free cancellation. If your plans change, you can always cancel free of charge until the cancellation expires.
