About the place

Just a few years ago our train carriages were part of the Zürich–Rome night train. Because these sleepers are even more comfy when they are not on the move, we decided to create a hostel, Amsterdam had never seen before.
In creating this unique hostel on wheels we tried to keep all the original features and fittings.
Our Train Lodge is an affordable, unique and strategic base to explore all Amsterdam has to offer.

If you are looking to stay at a very nice spot in a comfortable accommodation at a affordable price, you should come to our Train Lodge. We have nice cosy compartments with enough hot showers. In our reception and bistro car or on our sunny terrace we will serve you a wonderful breakfast or a beer

Nous avons passé deux nuits au Train Lodge, et nous aurions bien aimé continuer encore pendant un bout de temps là-bas ! L'idée de reprendre un train de nuit pour en faire une auberge de jeunesse est vraiment très bonne, et l'aménagement effectué rend le lieu très convivial. Il est possible de louer des vélos pour visiter Amsterdam et ses alentours, pour permettre de découvrir la région ainsi que le joli parc juste à côté de l'auberge. Le dortoir ainsi que les salles de bain étaient propres et conformes à la description, et le personnel agréable.
