The hostel was well situated in town, had a great atmopshere and was well maintained.

Great location and clean areas. You need to pay a deposit for kitchen stuff and had to return them the evening before if you did an early check out. Not so nice when eating breakfast in the morning without it. This was just a minor complaint though, otherwise this is a really great hostel. Balcony, big shower area and toilets.

Great that it offers free WIFI and free dinners for its guests. We also booked a few tours with them and they were helpful and saved us a bit of money!

You can drink on the balcony - seriously helps saving money! The free meal in the evening is great

The Jack is awesome! It was really clean, really cool atmosphere and the staff is great and so helpful! Perfect for the value! Awesome location too!

Only stayed for 1 night but had a great time. The free meal and wifi made it great value and the bar downstairs has something different going on every night (the night i was there it was Trivia which was AWESOME). Great staff, great location all in all a great experience.

The location was exceptional\ - central to everything you need to do in Cairns. The staff were great and always willing to offer assistance. The venue was very large but was very clean. The huge veranda was amazing! It made it very easy to meet and mingle with others. Free dinner every night was above and beyond what was expected - and the food was delicious!
