Great communal facilities!!

All the staff where very helpful, Able to answer all questions regarding the Local Area and all trips. A very large and well equipped kithen.

I like kichen and kichen stuffs. There are enough clean plates and cups and forks and so on.

It was very clean. The kitchen and showers were well maintained. The room was air-conditioned and a good temperature. It had a good mix of travellers; single, couples, families, young, old. It felt safe. I liked the meal offers for the evenings. I extended my stay by a few more nights.

Very central location, great staff, very clean, good areas to meet people and all around quality hostel.

Not a loud party hostel.

It has a great pool area, clean kitchen and good activities each evening. It's also in a great location.

I dislocated my knee whilst staying in Cairns and the YHA were supurb, they organised a downstairs room with a low bunk. Helped cancel any tours I had booked and assisted with my flight changes. They carried my backpack, helped put my shoe on and made me laugh when I wanted to cry. Sounds cheesy I know but they staff were exceptional and I wouldn't have coped half as well without them.
